Bali Day 2_Ubud
Ubud, Cloudy and heavy rain at night
Morning run outside the Uma Ubud, not very fresh air as we are running the main road. Trying to explore the road and fail to find good one.
Swim at the standard 25m resort pool ( q standard in the way and we manage to record it was a really 25 m pool, highly recommended for a training and travel vacation)for our program today! Thanks Kenneth for the revised program sent from yesterday :) :)
Since we didn't eat anythings in the morning, we are extremely starving. We headed straight to the Kemiri for our breakfast:) very nice and this is why we liked all Como Hotel's philosophy. Charles would like to thanks "Christina Ong" once again:)
We take a small walk at the Monkey Forrest Road as our routine trip while we are in Ubud. The football field is still same old same old, and i can still locate the internet shop while we made our first trip to Ubud back to 2004( Thanks Charles to reminding me, my memory really gone. Seriously, i can't remember all the past things now)!
Lunch at Cafe Moka as usual. Back to Uma around 3PM and ready for our yoga class at the pavillion with magnificent view overlooking a valley with river. Charles is so happy to be practicing again and he got no chance to do so in HK. And he is so seriously prepared the warm up before the class actually start. So sweet to see his face like this, is like a child.
Heavy rain at night, so we ordered in room tonight and with a surprise Anniversary Cake from Uma and Card. Lovely :)

Happy Mid Autumn Festival - Bali Day 1
We take a morning flight to Denpasar, arrived around 3, when we arrived Ubud is a bit late. Thats' our 4th return to this island.
We take a guided walk around the Uma Ubud and check in our Garden Room and is heaven:) and all i want is to have good rest to clean my mind and body.
We head to Naughty Nuri's for their famous ribs! That's our 3rd return to this restaurant. Sleep early and make sure we are ready for a morning run tomorrow :) Good nite with the full Moon and Star ......

"Joy to the World"
Finally we can make our dinner night out for VRR (More to tell what VRR stand for), dinner make ir at Dot Cod, we have grill guropa, French and Tasmania Oyster, Dot Cod House Seafood salad, tons of side dishes to make our night. Of course, the cream brulee and the frame mountain to make a nice finish.
Joy gonna leave us a year (or more??) to Australia (lucky that she make the working visa at her marginal age, ahahhaaa!!!) Wish her all luck and have a great start there :) and hopefully we can meet again in Aus next year for reunited. Wish that happened:)

Shek O Sunday
Wake up at 6:15 A.M. in the morning, as Charles cannot drove me there. I take a cap up to Cape Collision and ride down to Shek O for the Sonic Brick training. Lovely weather in the morning, saw Ah Yee and Ivan on the road. And we actually start late as Kenneth is still on the bed at 7:45A.M.
Finish the sets of brick, i feel extremely exhausted today and must be i really don't have REST! And this week is just too much for me. I have the wield physical today. I can feel my legs and arms can spin faster, but my heartrate cannot work with them :(feeling so breathless today
Great Lulu's breakfast with the girls back from the race at Splash and Dash, Well done Susana and Janice. Especially we have done the bike yesterday!
I have done my 2nd bike fit. (My first one was done my Claire Murray at Sports Performance back to 2005) This time, i got a very professional bike fit by Toby Jones from Bike Fit Asia and it was great that he stay at Shek O, so i can manage to do it after the terrible Brick! Bike osition adjusted with huge difference which i can feel, now really need time on the saddle to see how it works. Like his dog Billy....
Will go to Black Sheep for dinner tonight, i really need a good food for recovery.

So touching and may be we can learn from her that we should listen to our body. Hydrate ourselves regularly no matter what we feel.....I feel so touched when the girl behind her is cheer her up on the way to her finish. This is the real sportsmanship and i respect to it.
Tung Chung Bike+Run
I was cooked today and i feel that i was really drained with the whole week non-stop training. I started listening my body carefully today and they told me they are really no power at all. My legs is slowly grinding and they nearly crash when i saw my car in front that i can finish during the run after bike. The road i...n front is really long but i enjoy the mental toughness that i gain. Rest + Massage coming now:)

2010 Aquathon Series - Race 4, Hong Kong Plover Cove
Nice weather, a bit cool with bit shine...wake up at 4:45 this morning and drove to far away Plover Cove. I haven't been racing there for a long time, the returing is great!
Race consist of 5km Run + 1.5km swim + 5km run:
I was a bit late when i arrived there and was aware i even fon't know where is the transition area and the start. I tried to be clam and get everythings i need for the swim and rush to the T1 to settle my stuff.
Head to the start line which was away from the T1 300meter and time is relaly close to start. I manage to find Susana and Chris and we still got time to jog a bit.
Race start at 6:45A.M., i was positioned at the upper side, manage to run a bit faster pace which i aim to do so to test myself if i'm able to run abit faster for the first leg. (Usually ppls will tried to runa bit relax on teh first leg and save energy for the rest) I intented to run faster to gain more time as i know i won't swim fast. The first run is hard, i tried to follow few groups to run, but eventually fail. I was running alone and up to around the last 500m, i manage to follow a woman towards T1. Tuck in my swim cap and goggle and slowly walk down to the water, heartate is uncontrolable. Manage to swim my stroke until i reached first 200m, i feel my oxygen intake is not normal when i do my swim training. I tried to inhale more, but i realised my upper trachea is contracted abit and lead to reduce the air intake. I tried to told myself to clam down and exhale slowly under the water until all air is out so that i can inhale more. Finished my first lap and towards the second lap, i feel much comfortable and i know its time to speed up abit. Second lap is prefect, i manage to swim with my rhythm with hard kick and i always remembering Kenneth told me to hold my fingers together to push the water and ofcourse the turn. Thanks Kenneth, i always remember you during the swim. The most awakening time:)
Shake off all my caps and goggle, tuck in my shoes and race belt, grap my cap and oakley with 1 gel on hand. I feel a bit dizzy when running the first uphill...Saw many cheer person and i feel that i must run great. Hold my gel on hand (learnt from Belinda, thanks!) and slowly getting my pace. After the last turn towards the end, i started to built up a little and get a really strong finish. Just love the energy i can give out....
My personal split time:
5km run> 0:20:04
T1> 0:02:25
1.5 Swim> 0:38:21
T2> 0:02:45
5km run> 0:21:46
Total: 1: 25:19
Follow with Janice's invited BBQ at NT with heavy rain and thuderstorm. It gives me a feel when i was going a Brownie and Girlguides (for 10 years more) on how to make a fire with charcoat! Love her family with the support and the preparation of all the great food. Her dog Chocco is lovely. and ofcourse the Sonic Clan (We have our head coach back from Niseko camp, Ah Lok, Janice and family, Eric, Fanny and Ah Chung, Brian, Ah On, Susana, Evan, Mama Rita, Pearl, Stephanie & Ivan, Billy and family, Berard and her little girls, Andy, Michal and friendis) always great to share fun, jokes and teasing the guys and our big family photo time :)
Great to be home with Charles just lazy lying on sofa and watching the big rain outside. Good fmaily dinner with Charles' mom great preparation to end the day! Love our life :)

Bali Holiday confirmed
Just confirmed last week, we are heading off to Bali for a week to celebrate the full moon and our 2nd year marriage! This time we are going to stay At Bulgari Villa and Uma Ubud
yeah! I did it!
Finished my dinner with Sonic Clan last night till 11ish, sleep at 12:30A.M. and wake up at 6A.M. this morning. Yes, eventually i can wake up on weekday, I did it! The dawn is beautiful!
Ran 40mins plus 10 mins core exercise, my brain is just thinking of Belinda's one as my motivation.....ahahaaa. Between, the morning oldies is fantastic! they all keep chatting the whole way before they kick start their Tai Chi with same whitty uniform! Love my morning, the smell of sea water blowing towards my face, the sweat just really can't stop me.
I'm gonna think that my lifestyle will change from today.....
